If you are an administrator, you can turn products on and off in Livespace, adjust them and merge them. You can find more information about products in this article: What are products in Livespace?
Turning on the products
In order to start using the products feature, you need to:
- Go to Account settings
- Choose Deals from the left side menu
- Click on Turn on products switch, in the General tab
Adding a new product to the list of products
In order to add a new product:
- Go to Account settings
- Choose Deals from the left side menu
- Open Products tab
- Click on Add product button
- Type in the product’s name. You can also add a product’s SKU and it’s default price. When you’re done click on Add
- The product will now be visible on the Products list and added to deals
Creating groups of products
For better management, you can merge products into gropus (categories). In order to do that:
- Go to Account settings
- Choose Deals from the left side menu
- Open Products tab
- Choose Add product group option
- Type in the group name and click on Add
- The group will be added to the group list
- In order to add a product to a group, click on the edit icon of a product
- Choose this group when you edit the product
- The product will then be displayed in this group on the product list
Editing products and their groups
If you are an administrator, you can change product’s and group’s names, their SKU’s and default prices. Additionally, you can block the possibility to change the product price for users. In order to do that:
- Go to Account settings
- Choose Deals from the left side menu
- Open Products tab
- Click on the Edit icon, next to a product or a group
- Do necessary changes and click Save
Deleting products and groups
An administrator can remove existing groups and products. In order to do that:
- Go to Account settings
- Choose Deals from the left side menu
- Open Products tab
- Click on the x by the product or a group
- A confirmation form will be displayed
